Since this time of the year is slow for tourneys, we've added some youth going events to this list. If you would like more youth events listed in the Lowdown, please email and let us know.

Women on Water (WOW) has many limited size classes available in many locations! These courses are designed to get women behind the helm and enjoy the boating lifestyle. Many are FREE! They are meant to build confidence by presenting info in an active, fun, and supportive environment. 
Courses cover: Boat Terminology & Anatomy - line handling - safety & "Rules of the Road" - knot-tying - docking - boat operation & handling - hands-on experience On The Water - Much More!
Whether you are new to boating or you've been on the water a while, MarineMax "WOW" classes can help you gain confidence & even make some new friends in the process.

Old Salt Kids Fishing Slam!
This is a Free event at ROC Park in Madiera Beach, FL. They ask that anglers just please sign up online.
There will be 4 age groups from under 5 up to 17 and will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes available to each age group! Fishing rods from 13 Fishing will go to the first 500 youth anglers! Bait & Tackle provided, but bring your own rod if possible.

Women's Deer Hunt: South Prong Plantation in Glen St. Mary, FL
An exceptional opportunity for 6 women to go on a guided white tail deer hunt. The plantation is over 2400 acres in Baker County. Site in firearms and go over rules on Friday afternoon. Hunt Saturday morning/evening and Sunday morning.
